A springtime walk is quite an adventure for the senses. Stepping onto a trail I smell the earth, damp with dew, as my feet disturb the ground with every step. Puddles form in low spots where tiny green plants sprout among the decaying brown leaves. Early blooms of white, purple, and yellow surprise the landscape with their joy in an otherwise neutral palette of gray and brown. Listen closely for the birds in the trees as they busily build their nests. Hear the swish of squirrels scurrying in the dry grass.

Can you feel Spring in the air?
